  • STRENGTH AND DURABILITY (CHLORIDE INGRESS) TRENDS OFGROUND GRANULATED BLASTFURNACE SLAG GGBS IN CONCRETE

ReshmaRughooputh, JaylinaRana, Rohunsingh Sam

Abstract:
Ground Granulated BlastfurnaceSlag (GGBS) is a solid waste produced during the manufacture of iron. Instead of it leading to an increase in solid waste generation, this industrial by-product can be managed properly and effectively by making use of its cementitious properties.

  • AXIAL VIBRATION OF UNIFORM BEAMS WITH TIP MASSES

Oktay Demirdag

Abstract:
In this study free axial vibration of a uniform beam with tip masses is analyzed. The tip masses are modeled by concentrated masses at both ends. The frequency values for the first three vibration modes of the beam are obtained for various values of concentrated masses and presented in the tables.

  • ADSORPTION CHARACTERISTICS OF MALACHITE GREEN AND METHYLENE BLUE DYE ON FLY ASH GENERATED FROM KOLAGHAT THERMAL POWER PLANT: A CASE STUDY

Dr. Radha Das, Anupam Mukherjee , Biswadip Das, Priyam Mitra, Ishita Sinha

Abstract:
Textile dying industry effluents are highly toxic and carcinogenic in nature as it contains a large number of complex metal dyes which are stable to light and resistant to aerobic digestion.

  • AXIAL VIBRATION OF ELASTICALLY SUPPORTED BEAMS

Oktay Demirdag

Abstract:
In this study free axial vibration of an elastically supported beam is analyzed. The supports are modeled by elastic translational springs. The frequency values for the first three vibration modes of the beam are obtained for various values of spring constants and presented in the tables.

  • THEORITICAL AND FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF T-JOINT IN ARC WELDING PROCESS

Arunkumar.A, Vijayashankar.R

Abstract:
Welding is a process used to join two or more pieces of similar or dissimilar metals by creating a strong metallurgical bond between them by heating or pressure or both. Arc welded structures are widely used in automobiles, constructions & power plants.

  • INFLUENCE OF PROCESS PARAMETERS ON DISTRIBUTION OF CARBON FIBRES IN ALUMINIUM MATRIX COMPOSITES

B. Sharon Sylvester, B. Shanmugasundaram, R. Prathipa

Abstract:
Metal matrix composites are gaining wider acceptance in aerospace and defence industries due to their lightweight and high strength materials. The control of processing parameters is very important in order to obtain good quality casing with minimal defects.

  • OPTIMAL PRICING AND REPLENISHMENT POLICIES FOR NON-INSTANTANEOUS DETERIORATING ITEMS WITH SUBJECTIVE PRICING STRATEGY

Kamlesh A Patel and Nilay Mehta

Abstract:
This study extends the work of Soni and Patel (2013) and consider the pricing strategy in subjective manner when the deterioration occurs in the product. The model assumes price sensitive demand when the product has no deterioration and price and time dependent demand when the product has deterioration.
