Abstract:
Synthesis and characterization of metal complexes derived from azomethine compounds viz., H-PMCPH and H2-PECPH have been discussed. Schiff bases H-PMCPH and H2-PECPH have been prepared by the condensation of 2-hydrazinobenzoic acid with pyridine 2-carboxaldehyde and 3-acetyl-4-hydroxy-6-methyl-2-pyrone.

In this chapter metal complexes derived from Schiff bases viz., N[1(5-acetyl-2,4-dihydroxy Ehenyl) ethylidene]-N’[(2-amino) benzoyl]-hydrazine (H2-ADPEABH) and N[1(5-acetyl-2,4-dihydroxyehenyl) ethylidene]-N’[1(2-carboxy) phenyl] hydrazine (H3-ADPBCPH) using VO(II), Cr (III), Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) metal ions have been discussed.

The present work is aimed at “Experimental investigation of torsional strength”. The two sensors, strain gauge and the rotary potentiometer are used in this machine.
