Abstract:
Pot culture experiment was conducted for study the efficacy of entomopathogenic nematodes against white grub, Phyllognathus dionysius Fab. (Coleoptera: Scarabidae). In pot culture experiment two Entomopathogenic nematodes viz., Heterorhabditis indica and Steinernema carpocapsae were tested for their pathogenicity against third instar grubs of P. dionysius.

Abstract:
The seasonal incidence of white grubs was studied during 1st April to 31st December 2015 Kolhapur district of Western Maharashtra. The white grub population recorded in 1st fortnight of the May was 2.72 grubs/m2 corresponds to 19th Meteorological Week (M. W.). The population of the grub increases after May month onwards.
