considering the significant role Agriculture plays to the socio-economic development of
every society it has become imperative to the quest for improved skill acquisition and youth
empowerment and if Agricultural education is aggressively enhanced by injecting funds into
Technical colleges of education, Nigeria would witnessed formidable changes in her standard
of technological literacy with reference to Agriculture. This paper titled: ―Strategies for
Improving Students Enrolment in Agricultural Education Programs in Technical Colleges of
Enugu‖ is written to review strategies with which Vocational and Technical Education in

Effects of Maternal Smoking on Fetus and Child Development: a literature review

Abstract:
With tobacco being one of the widely used substance there has been a great deal of attention focused on the effect of maternal smoking on fetus and child development impacting future human capital and health.This research article systematically reviewed studies dated 1992-2016 from PubMed, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Medline, EMBASE, National Vital Statistics Report (CDC)to examine the association between maternal smoking and health outcomes offetus and child. The literature is consistent on the negative effects linked to low birth weight, preterm weight, birth defects, abnormal fetal growth and development, sudden infant death syndrome, obesity, neurodevelopmental and behavioral developments, hypertension, asthma, and type 2 diabetes. This review further discuses maternal smoking with a lens of role of socio-economic status, geographic variational and determinants like ethnicity, education, employment, and age. The paper calls for early intervention and provides recommendation to buildstrategies and policies aiming to minimize maternal smoking effects and enhancing child development and human capital.

Abstract:
Mahua oil is a critical source for meeting India's current energy demand. The mahua seed kernels were used to extract the crude oil by Soxhlet extraction with n-Hexane (65-70 °C), pressing with screw-press oil expeller and the combined method (pressing + solvent extraction). The total crude oil extracted from the seed kernel using the Soxhlet extraction method (with n Hexane) was 51%.The soxhlet extraction method is reported a remarkable method in present study .

Robert Recorde published The Grounde of Artes in 1543, the first math textbooks to be published in both English and French for the general audience. However, the first pieces of writing on mathematics and mathematical operations date to about 1800 BCE. Most of them were found in Mesopotamia, where the Sumerians created a mathematical society that included multiplication and division. They have artefacts that show how they approach problems like the quadratic equation. Two of the most well-known papyri on mathematics written by the Egyptians after the Sumerians are the Rhind Mathematical Papyrus and the Moscow Mathematical Papyrus. The more well-known Rhind Papyrus, which has an estimated date of 1650 BCE, is allegedly only a duplicate of a scroll from a far earlier period, according to scholars
