  • AN ASSESSMENT OF NATIONAL PRIVATE-INDUSTRY FOSSIL-FUEL WORKFORCE METRICS DURING THE ENFORCEMENT ERA OF THE CROSSSTATE AIR POLLUTION RULE

Abstract:
The Cross-State Air Pollution Rule, the United States’ sweeping air pollution federal legislation, was enacted to limit carbon emissions from the fossil fuel industry to improve air quality. Critics claimed that this would be the death stroke to the fossil-fuel industry and all related stakeholders. While the positive results have come with unanticipated consequences, there has been little quantitative research on the effects of these regulations on those employed in related industries. This study aims to fill this gap by assessing the impact of the Rule on professions associated with the fossil fuel industry. Various financial metrics published annually by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics were analyzed using two-sample t-tests to determine the impact of the regulation on the financial health of inter-related domestic workforces.

Abstract:
Parthenium hysterophorus L. and Lantana Camara L. are collected and there extract of leaf and shoot are mixed and prepared with Amrut Jal in different concentration 5%,10%,15%,20% Amrut Jal is taken as controlled now these extract is used on the crop Phaseolus radiatus which is a leguminous plantthe material chosen for the study includes Parthenium hysterophorus L and Lantana camara L. the leaf and shoot of these plant is collected chopped in small pieces dried and crushed in mixture grinder after that the extract is mixed and soaked in distilled water for 24 hours

  • CDM POTENTIAL OF SOLAR ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES IN INDIA

Abstract:
Clean Development Mechanism of the Kyoto Protocol gives developed nations an incentive to engage in emission reduction projects that would reduce CO2 emissions while simultaneously promoting sustainable development in the developing countries where the projects will be implemented. With its direct replacement of greenhouse gas emissions and sustainable rural development, solar energy technologies may be of interest under the CDM program. This research analyzes the theoretical and practical CDM potential of different solar energy systems in India. Even with CER revenues, early findings show that CDM projects based on solar energy technology would need government subsidies to make them profitable. If the environmental benefits of this project type are large enough, it makes sense from a macroeconomic perspective to promote this kind of project.

Abstract:
Groundwater was collected from the industrial areas situated in Gwalior District, Madhya Pradesh. Samples were collected determined the following parameters, chemical oxygen demand (COD), Biological oxygen demand (BOD), and dissolved oxygen (DO).The groundwater sample were analyzed by standards methods (APHA).The ground water samples showing moderate values of DO,BOD &COD. Domestic and industrial waste should be properly disposed and or recycled. Relevant agencies should make continuous effort to control, regulate and educate populace on indiscriminate waste disposal from domestic and industries within the study area
