A STUDY ON INTERACTIVE EFFECT OF HEAVY METALS NIKEL - MOLYBDENUM (NI-MO) ON ROOTS AND SHOOTS OF WHEAT CROP
Dr. Ashok Kumar
Abstract:
Interactive effects of Ni and Mo on T durum var. HI8737 resulted in a higher level of tissue weight being maintained in Mo1 and Mo2 treatments compared to Ni alone and almost intermediate levels with Ni-Mo1 and Ni-Mo2 in root and shoot. Further, for MDA and H2O2 content, Ni-Mo1 and Ni-Mo2 resulted in greater reductions compared to Ni alone, suggesting the role of Mo in mitigating the oxidative stress induced by Ni. In the binary treatments (Ni-Mo1 and Ni-Mo2), the SOD activities in the roots were substantially lower compared to the Ni treatment alone, whereas a marginal increase was observed in the shoot, indicating that Mo do not exert a prominent effect against Ni-induced O2- radical generation. Effects of Ni on CAT and APX activities were prominent in shoots of both binary treatments compared to Ni alone, indicating their participation in mitigating Ni-induced H2O2 stress in shoot tissue. It is worthwhile to discuss the research on Ni's interaction with various ions/molecules. Thus, Ni precipitation in soil occurs when Mn and Fe are present. The pre-treatment of Triticum aestivum L. cv. Samma seeds with GA3 and Ca2+ mitigates the negative effects of Ni toxicity by enhancing the antioxidant system seedling observed alleviation of Ni toxicity in the presence of Se and is related to limitation of Ni uptake. Hence, Mo may have a role in reducing Ni toxicity via forming complex.

IMPACT OF AGE, SEX, AND CLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF COVID-19 PATIENTS: A CASE STUDY OF GURUGRAM
Preety Kumari1, Dr. Babita Rani2
Abstract:
There is a dearth of information on the clinical and epidemiological features of COVID-19 in individuals of all ages and genders. Previous research has mostly concentrated on the elderly and paediatric populations. Examine whether the interaction between age and sex and other risk factors affects how severe a SARS-CoV-2 infection is. In the collection of information usually gathered upon admission, age and sex were significant predictors of disease severity. Sexual dissimilarities reduced with age. When examining age differences using clinical markers of disease severity instead of radiological markers, the differences were more noticeable. In our investigation, the effect of sex on the clinical indicators was more pronounced than the effect of age.

IMPACT OF GLOBAL WARMING AND IT'S CHEMISTRY
Jagjeewan Ram Bairwa and Ajay Kumar Meena
Abstract:
Climate change, which is caused by human activity, is the primary cause of global warming, which is a significant environmental problem that has significant repercussions for the ecosystems and societies of our world. This research investigates the chemistry that underlies global warming, with a particular emphasis on the function that greenhouse gases play and the interactions that they have within the atmosphere of the Earth. Some of the most important greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O), are responsible for the greenhouse effect, which is the process of retaining heat and causing an increase in the average temperature of the earth. In addition to the direct impacts of greenhouse gases, the chemistry of global warming encompasses a variety of processes, including the acidification of the oceans and the production of secondary pollutants. In addition, feedback mechanisms magnify the effects of global warming, which presents further obstacles for efforts to mitigate and adapt to the phenomenon. When it comes to establishing effective methods to solve this urgent problem and protect the future of our planet, having a solid understanding of the chemistry behind global warming is very necessary.

CHARACTERIZATION OF BIOACTIVE COMPONENTS IN PLANTS
Brij Mohan Singh
Abstract:
Plants have served as a source of medicine for millennia, with traditional cultures using them to treat a wide range of ailments. This rich heritage continues to inspire scientific exploration, as researchers delve deeper into the characterization of bioactive components within plants. These components, often referred to as secondary metabolites, hold immense potential for developing new drugs, nutraceuticals, and agricultural products. Understanding the chemical nature and biological activity of these bioactive compounds is crucial. The characterization process involves a multi-step approach, beginning with the selection of the plant material. Different parts of a plant, such as leaves, flowers, or roots, may possess varying concentrations of bioactive components. Once the plant material is chosen, extraction techniques are employed to isolate the desired compounds. \\r\\n

THE CONCEPT OF GENUS IN TOPOLOGY & COMPLEX ANALYSIS
Babul Kumar Sharma
Abstract:
The use of the word genus came from biology where it refers to this or that group of beings having some characteristics in common The concept of genus is very popular in mathematics, mostly in topology and in complex analysis. This mathematical concept has historical development and it can be a mathematics concept and it can also be a statistics concept. The genus of a surface which is first defined by Riemann and recently discussed by Clebsch is the most perfect example. Riemann’s work was concerned with the classification of surfaces as a consequence of the determination in the least number of simple closed curves needing to dissect off the surface to a more basic sort. While this number later got the name ‘genus’ when Clebsch used it to classify these surfaces algebraically geometrically Riemann named it as 2p. The genus, or g(F), has survived into the present day as an amplitude of surfaces that depends on topological characteristics only. The subsequent parts of this article, will explain briefly how the notion of genus has been started from the surface topology and how the idea has been shifted roaming in the world of mathematics age, leaving behind the formal definitions.\\r\\n

CHARACTERIZATION OF CDSE THIN FILMS UNDER GREEN ILLUMINATION
Sanjay W. Pawar
Abstract:
The present work demonstrates a synthesis of nanocrystalline thin films of cadmium selenide (CdSe) using monochromatic photo-assisted chemical bath deposition (CBD) techniques at room temperature. The structure of the CdSe films deposited under green coloured illumination was confirmed by X-ray diffraction and the effect of the monochromatic light on the growth rate was observed. The secondary electron microscopy (SEM) result demonstrated different morphology of the different films' surfaces, such as granular spherical, cauliflower, fiber, or wire, with a variety of porosity that was achieved by a simpler photochemical route. The results obtained from UV-visible spectra showed a decrease in the optical bandgap from 1.8 to 1.9 eV.
