  • DEVELOPMENT OF METHOD FOR EXTRACTIVE SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF Cu (II) WITH OF 2-[2-(4-CHLORO BENZOTHIOZOLE) IMINO]-5- NITRO PHENOL AS AN ANALYTICALREAGENT

Ratnamala P. Sonawane, Atul Kumar Singh

Abstract:
A spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of Cu (II) using 2-[2-(4-Chloro Benzothiozole) imino]-5- nitro phenol as an extractive reagent. The reagent forms a coloured complex, which has been quantitatively extracted into n-butanol at pH 9.4. The method obeys Beer’s law over a range from 1 to 10 ppm.

  • EFFECT OF COPPER SUBSTITUTION IN ZINC FERRITE

V. J. Pissurlekar

Abstract:
Ferrite nanoparticles are interesting material due to their rich physical, structural, electrical and magnetic properties. They have potential applications in variety of fields. In present study, Cu–Zn ferrite with the chemical formula CuxZn(1-x)Fe2o4(x= 0.2, 0.4,0.6 and 0.8 ) were synthesized by decomposing a precursor produced from metal salts and hydrazinium acetate ligand.

  • PRE- CLINICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF ATORVASTATIN & MILNACIPRAN COMBINATION FOR THE TREATMENT OF NEUROPATHIC PAIN

Sachin Kumar Bansal1, Dr. Savithiri Shivakumar2

Abstract:
Neuropathic pain, a complex and chronic pain condition resulting from damage to the nervous system, presents significant challenges in clinical management. Current therapeutic approaches often involve a combination of pharmacological and non-pharmacological strategies. This research explores the pre-clinical characterization of a novel therapeutic combination of atorvastatin, a statin with neuroprotective properties, and milnacipran, a dual serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, for the treatment of neuropathic pain. The study aims to evaluate this combination therapy's efficacy, safety, and underlying mechanisms in animal models to provide a foundation for future clinical investigations.
