There have been microbiological and enzymatic analyses of soils located at different distances and in different directions from a wind generator (0 m, 20 m, 50 m, 1000 m) performed, in order to establish the impact of wind on the indicators researched. The biogenousity of soils is different for the individual samples, the total microflora is highest when the soil most heavily influenced by the wind – at a distance of 20 m from the wind turbine into the wind.

Photoelectrochemical (PEC) Solar Cells were made using thin film vacuum evaporated CdSe0.5Te0.5 (thickness  4000 Å) at 30 1Å/sec on indium oxide coated glass plates at high vacuum (≈〖10〗^(-5) torr) dipped in aqueous Ferro-Ferricyanide solution with graphite electrode as the counter electrode. The PEC solar cell efficiency was measured using AM 1.5 solar radiation for power conversion. The thin films were characterized by X-ray diffraction to ascertain the formation of CdSe0.5Te0.5and the bandgap of the semiconducting thin film was calculated by optical studies.

Magnesium oxychloride cement (magnesia cement), popularly known as Sorel's cement, is one of the strongest binders. Organic binders are normally known as adhesive while inorganic binders are often regarded as cements. It is obtained by reaction of magnesia with an aqueous solution of its salts, particularly halides and sulphates. A complex compound of definite composition 3MgO.MgCI2.11H2O is said to be formed with higher densities of gauging solution i.e., 20°Be or more, which is responsible for its setting and cementing action. This complex has been modified slightly as a mixture of 3Mg(OH)2.MgCl2.8H2O and 5Mg(OH)2.MgCl2.8H2O.
