  • A Study on Challenges of AI in Higher Studies

Dr. Meenakshi Yadav Dr. Karishma Saraswat

Abstract:
The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into higher education has the potential to revolutionize learning experiences and outcomes. However, its implementation is not without its challenges. This article will explore some of the key obstacles that institutions and students face in adopting AI in higher education. One major concern is the potential for AI to replace human educators. While AI can automate certain tasks, it cannot replicate the nuances of human interaction, such as providing personalized guidance, fostering critical thinking, and inspiring creativity. Additionally, there is a risk of AI perpetuating existing biases present in the data it is trained on, leading to unequal outcomes for students from marginalized groups. Another challenge is the ethical implications of AI in higher education. Issues such as data privacy, intellectual property rights, and algorithmic bias must be carefully considered. For instance, the use of AI for student assessment raises concerns about fairness and transparency. If algorithms are not designed and implemented ethically, they could inadvertently disadvantage certain students. Moreover, the rapid pace of technological advancement presents a challenge for institutions to keep up with the latest AI developments and ensure that their faculty and students have the necessary skills to effectively utilize these tools. This requires significant investment in training and infrastructure.

  • IMPACT OF OYO HOTELS ON STANDARDIZATION OF DAILY OPERATION OF A HOTEL

Dr. Vidya Vilas Kadam* Ritika Dinesh Shete**

Abstract:
Based on the OYO (On Your Own) hotels’ models of standardization, operational efficiency and management policies, this study explores its impact on the business of hotels that have adopted Oyo strategies. Moreover, it explores the benefits for the employees who follow the standard procedures leading to customer satisfaction. Data gathered through systematic sampling of 10 business properties who have adopted Oyo models was subjected to applied research analysis. Results indicate Oyo\'s innovative business model and technology-driven approach have modernized the way hotels operate and have streamlined their daily processes. By implementing standardized operating procedures, Oyo has created a consistent experience across its properties, ensuring that guests experience a certain level of quality and service regardless of the location they choose increasing operational efficiency. While there may be some challenges and adjustments required for hotels transitioning to Oyo\'s system, the overall impact on the standardization of daily operations has been positive, leading to greater efficiency, improved guest experiences, and a more competitive hotel industry as a whole. However, challenges can arise due to the strict guidelines imposed by Oyo, which may require significant adjustments for partner hotels. Some hotel owners face difficulties in meeting the prescribed standards or maintaining their individuality within the Oyo network. Using these findings, implications are discussed and scope for future research is presented.\r\n
