Abstract:

Secondary data used were sourced from the publications of the Central Bank of Nigeria Statistical Bulletin from 1980 to 2017.The estimated techniques employed were Ordinary Least Square (OLS) which analyzed the effect of manufacturing firms performance on economic growth in Nigeria

Abstract:
Thisstudy examined the long run impact of manufacturing sector on economic growth in Nigeria. Secondary data were used in this study. The relevant data were sourced from the publications of the Central Bank of Nigeria. Some of the publications include, CBN’s Annual Reports and Statement of Accounts for the years under review. The variables for which data were sourced include: manufacture output, Economic Growth, investment, non-oil export, non-oil import and exchange rate from 1980 to 2017. Units root test, Johansen co-integration, Vector Error-Correction Model, and Granger causality tests were employed to determine the long run relationship and causality links among the variables

Abstract:
The purpose of this seminar work is focuses on effect of globalization on performance of selected manufacturing firms in south south Nigeria, Nigeria. Specifically the study aimed to pursue the following objectives: to determine the extent at which trade liberalization affects creativity and innovation; ascertain the nature of the relationship between technology and productivity and ascertain the effect of quality goods and service on customer satisfaction . The study had a population size of 1792 consist of Nigerian breweries plc and coca cola Nigeria plc, out of which a sample size of 327 was realized using Taro Yamene’s formula at 5% error to tolerance and 95% level of confidence. Instruments used for data collection were primary questionnaires and interview.
