Abstract: . The two conflicting concerns in investment analysis are growth rate and risk, which are ordinarily directly proportionate in any given investment vehicle. Present research measures the performance of the select different mutual fund schemes in India.It compares the performance of the select different mutual fund schemes in India on the basis of risk and return.Also analyze the performance by using the portfolio performance evaluation tools namely standard deviation, Sharpe, Treynor and Jensen.
