डॉ.जयदीप निकम,संचालक, निरंतर शिक्षण व आरोग्य विज्ञान विद्याशाखा, यशवंतराव चव्हाण महाराष्ट्र मुक्त विद्यापीठ,नाशिक डॉ. सौ.रश्मी पराग रानडे,शैक्षणिक संयोजक, आरोग्य विज्ञान विद्याशाखायशवंतराव चव्हाण महाराष्ट्र मुक्त विद्यापीठ,नाशिकAbstract: सध्याच्या काळात आपण भूजल शोधण्याच्या दृष्टीने विविध यंत्र,तंत्र, अनुमान यांच्या सहाय्य घेतो.प्राचीन काळी विविध यंत्रांची उपलब्धता नसताना देखील अचूक भूजल सर्वेक्षण करून पाण्याचा शोध घेतला जात होता.या संदर्भातील वराह मिहीर रचित बृहत संहिता हा प्राचीन ग्रंथ मोलाची माहिती प्रदान करतो. हा ग्रंथ जरी ज्योतिष ग्रंथ म्हणून मानला जातो,तरी या ग्रंथात सृष्टी मधील घटक जसे खगोल,ज्योतिष, गणित, पदार्थ व त्याचे गुणधर्म, विज्ञान,रत्न,पर्यावरण, पर्जन्य,जल,वनस्पती ,विवाहमेलन असे सर्व विषय अंतर्भूत आहेत.वराहमिहीर यांच्या बृहत संहितेसारख्या प्राचीन ग्रंथांच्या संदर्भाने वैशिष्ट्यपूर्ण रंजक माहितीचा आढावा घेवून त्यांची उपयुक्तता आजच्या काळात देखील किती आहे याचा परामर्श या लेखात घेण्यात आला आहे. |

Shikha Pandey Dr. Hrishikesh MishraAbstract: The present study examines the professional commitment of secondary education teachers of Lucknow district in accordance with their emotional intelligence. The sample is of 100 secondary education teachers of Lucknow district. Spearman rank order correlation was calculated for the analysis of data. The result established a significant and positive correlation between emotional intelligence and professional commitment of secondary education teachers of Lucknow district. This suggests that educational institutions can foster higher professional commitment in their teachers by enhancing emotional intelligence of teachers. Teachers having high emotional intelligence manage the stress and challenges in a better way & thus their commitment for work is enhanced. High emotional intelligence of teacher reflects in many positive qualities like better interpersonal relations, boosted understanding and empathy, more effective conflict management, resilience and improved adjustment. This contributes to enhanced commitment and engagement of teachers regarding their job or profession. |
