Arshi Nabi
Abstract:
George Eliot believes that character cannot be judged on merits of only one action in life. Evidently one’s behaviour at any given moment is the inevitable result of what has gone before and for this reason some past judgement is always echoed in the content of any event in the present. Dr. Vineet Jain
Abstract:
-Products and services may be traded via the internet through e-commerce. Many facets
of India's digital commerce industry, including its expanding e-commerce economy, will be discussed
in this section. Because e-commerce is one of the fastest-growing industries and because of the size
of the Indian market, foreign investors are investing in the Indian industry. Indian e-commerce

is one of the most rapidly expanding businesses and India provides an ideal location for investment.
Investment has increased dramatically since last year, but more is anticipated in the years to come,
even though it has already done so. In both urban and rural areas, e-commerce enterprises have

INNOVATIVE METHODS OF TEACHING ENGLISH AT THE UNDERGRADUATE LEVELIN A RURAL SETUP
Mrs Niveditha Caroline Lobo,
Abstract:
The field of language education is changing at an ever-increasing rate. Traditional notions of education are giving way to newer, more innovative ways of thinking about how we learn, teach and acquire knowledge. In How Languages are Learned, Patsy M Lightbown and Nina Spada state that all second language learners have exposure to language learning as they have already acquired at least one language. However, the learning conditions, differaccording to their age groups. The young learners are ‘allowed to be silent until they are ready to speak’ (38) and are given practise in their second language through songs and so on, the older learners receive far less exposure to the language, limited to a few hours a week, in addition, they are also not exposed to all kinds of discourse types in the classroom. Jeremy Harmer states that children learn languages instinctively based on the exposure they receive to the language.

DEVELOPING COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE THROUGH TASK BASED LANGUAGE LEARNING- AN EXPERIMENT
Niveditha Caroline Lobo
Abstract:
Tasks hold a central place both in current second language acquisition research and in language pedagogy (Ellis, 2003).Nunan (2004), defines task as ‘ a piece of classroom work which involves learners in comprehending, manipulating, producing, or interacting in the target language while their attention is focused on mobilizing their grammatical knowledge in order to express meaning, and in which the intention is to convey meaning rather than to manipulate form. The task should also have a sense of completeness, being able to stand along as a communicative act in its own right. Skehan (1996) points that ‘a task is an activity in which meaning is primary; there is some sort of relationship to the real world; task completion has some priority; and the assessment of task performance is in terms of outcome’.

GIRISH KARNAD’S NAGAMANDALA- A THEMATIC STUDY
Jayashree M.G
Abstract:
Girish Karnad's "Nagamandala," a poignant and multi-layered play, intricately weaves themes of love, gender, and societal norms through the lens of Indian folklore. Set against the backdrop of rural India, the narrative revolves around the life of Rani, a young woman trapped in an oppressive marriage, and her entanglement with the supernatural. This thematic study explores the play's exploration of female agency, the duality of reality and myth, and the critique of patriarchal structures. By analyzing the interplay between personal desire and social constraints, this paper highlights how Karnad's work resonates with contemporary issues of identity and empowerment.

VIKSHIT BHARAT-2047: WAY FORWARD
Dr. Robin Hissang,
Abstract:
With India getting closer to its 100th anniversary of independence in 2047, the concept of Vikshit Bharat, or Developed India, becomes increasingly important for the country's future. This paper explores the multi-dimensional pathways necessary for realizing this vision, focusing on five key areas: economic growth, social equity, technological advancement, sustainable development, and effective governance. We analyze current trends and challenges that hinder progress, such as income inequality, inadequate infrastructure, and environmental degradation. By proposing strategic initiatives like enhancing manufacturing capabilities, promoting digital literacy, ensuring universal healthcare, and implementing sustainable practices, this research aims to outline a comprehensive roadmap for a prosperous and inclusive India. Through collaborative efforts among government, industry, and civil society, this paper advocates for a transformative approach to build a resilient economy and an equitable society. Ultimately, Vikshit Bharat-2047 represents not just an aspiration but a commitment to fostering a better future for all Indians.
