Abstract:
Repatriation adjustment is a common problem among the academics, where the academics find difficulties in adjusting back to the local context after the international academic assignments. Although this is a pertinent issue, in the extant body of literature investigations are lacking. This paper aims to investigate the factors affecting the repatriation adjustmentamong the academics in the Sri Lankan context. In addition,this paper investigates whether the proactive personality of academics moderate the impact of the factors affecting repatriation adjustment. For this purpose,120 academic repatriates have been considered from the Sri Lankan universities.

Abstract:
Based on economic theories, foreign aid has a positive impact on poverty reduction in developing countries. Some economists, however, criticize foreign assistance due to poor outcomes of these aid inflow, these critics state that foreign aidincreases corruption and bureaucracy significantly. The debate on effectiveness of foreign aid is still ongoing and outcomes of foreign assistances are under question yet. This research investigates the role of foreign aid on poverty alleviation in Afghanistan, using time series analyses covering a period of nine years (2006 to 2015). The study has mainly used secondary data. Households and NPISHs Final consumption expenditure per capita growth (annual %) has been chosen as main variable for measuring poverty.

RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION PROCESS OF AN IT COMPANY IN BANGLADESH

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to examine the recruitment and selection process of an information technology (IT) company. Both secondary and primary data have been used to conduct the study. Primary data collected with the help of prestructured questionnaires by taking eleven employees from the selected IT company. It was used convenient method of sampling for the selection of the IT company and data. Descriptive statistics and percentage methods of analysis were done. Views of the employees revealed that they are satisfied or moderately satisfied about the recruitment and selection process of the company. Finally, the study is concluded with some recommendations.

Sports has been social & recreational activity since the dawn of human civilization. Sports is the major base of international understanding & mutual appreciation. India had 10.04 million foreign tourist arrivals in 2017 with an annual growth rate of about 14 percent from 8.80 million in 2016. This was a significant increase from the 2.65 million just 15 years before in 2000. Tourism was major source of foreign exchange earnings of most of the developing countries.
