THE IMPACT OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT ON THE INDIAN ECONOMY
Dr.Anil Nath
Abstract:
Foreign direct investment (FDI) started to become important to the world economy after the Second World War. Theoretical research on foreign direct investment has advanced our knowledge of the economic mechanism and the behaviour of economic agents at both the micro and macro levels, opening up a new area of economic theory study. Since the implementation of the liberalisation strategy under Dr. Manmohan Singh's finance ministry in 1991, India has experienced a change in the volume and direction of foreign direct investment (FDI) into the country. Economic growth over the long term is facilitated by foreign direct investment (FDI). MNCs aid domestic companies in the transfer of technology. Within the business, there is organic growth or expansion. Because FDI is less erratic and flows to the stock and bond markets, it is preferred over FII, sometimes known as "hot money." The stock market expands and draws in more capital as a result of the strong economic growth brought on by FDI, which also assists businesses by helping them to raise more money.

IMPACT OF DR. RAM MANOHAR LOHIA'S SOCIALISM ON INDIAN POLITICS
Dr. Harsh kumar
Abstract:
Given his affinity for 'New Socialism,' Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia (1910–1977) is often considered to be the Indian socialist movement's most unusual theoretical, and one could even argue that he is also the movement's most unique thinker. In spite of the fact that he was labeled a "doctrinal socialist" by Appadorai (2002), his primary motivation seemed to be to free the notion of socialism from the constraints imposed by Marxism and International Communism, both in theory and in practice. It is interesting to note that Lohia sought to give socialism a new and distinct dimension by adapting it to the requirements and goals of developing nations like India. He did this by incorporating certain aspects of capitalism, which, according to Lohia (1963), has facilitated a gradual improvement in the quality of life of the working class and its transition into the middle class in Europe. Lohia's goal was to make socialism more applicable to the needs and goals of developing nations like India. In other words, the creditable addition that Lohia made to the corpus of socialist thinking in India seems to be inventing the idea by ingraining in it various linked intellectual precepts with the objective of assuring that it is suitable to the imperatives of the Indian conditions one hundred percent of the time. What has, however, remained unchanged in this conceptualization of socialism is its unwavering focus on the establishment of an equitable, democratic, and egalitarian socio-economic and political system with the goal of ensuring the comprehensive development of the people in India.

REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS OF WOMEN IN INDIA
Dr. Princy Chaturvedi,
Abstract:
In India, women's reproductive rights encompass various aspects including the right to make autonomous decisions about contraception, family planning, pregnancy, childbirth, and abortion. However, entrenched patriarchal norms, limited awareness and inadequate healthcare infrastructure have hindered the realization of these rights for many women. Factors such as gender inequality, child- marriage, lack of comprehensive sex education and restricted access to healthcare services continue to pose significant challenges. Nonetheless, several initiatives have been undertaken to address these challenges and promote women's reproductive rights in India. Puttaswamy Judgement specifically recognised the constitutional right of women to make reproductive choices as part of personal liberty under Article 21 of the Indian Constitution. Efforts have also been made to improve access to reproductive healthcare services through government programs such as the National Health Mission and the Janani Suraksha Yojana. These initiatives focus on increasing awareness, providing antenatal and postnatal care, and ensuring skilled birth attendance, particularly for marginalized communities. While progress has been made, challenges persist in effectively implementing and enforcing reproductive rights laws, particularly in rural areas where cultural barriers and limited infrastructure pose significant obstacles. Continued advocacy, education, and community engagement are essential to promote gender equality, enhance awareness, and overcome the existing barriers that impede women's reproductive rights in India.

समावेषी षिक्षा की अवधारणा
रजनी
