Abstract: Modern life is a manifestation of ecological crisis of different kinds. These adverse conditions are the consequences of the destruction of nature from fertility to aridity. This is a global problem. Human’s greed to conquer nature has resulted in a deplorable state of humanity. In such a critical situation, when the world is facing depletion, a thorough eco-consciousness is necessary for its survival. Human beings with their unique literary talent bear the great responsibility to influence human behavior so as to enable them to maintain a healthy relationship with their natural environment. Eco-feminism, which is an amalgamation of ecology and feminism, is a concept which questions the patriarchal oppression and the exploitation of nature.

This affair which involves the abandonment of 800 Muslim/Malays pilgrims on the ship by Jim, a white European crew, is a prime concern which was being thoroughly investigated. The episode reflects a suppressed tension between white and non-white in a world which is already divided.

Abstract: जिण मारग बारहठ बुआ, बहता सह देसोत। माळा माथै मुलक रै, जगती जस री जोत।। मरस्यां पण हरस्यां नहीं, बारहठ रा में बोल। (सवाईसिंह धमोरा) बारहठ केसरीसिंह का जन्म संवत् 21 नवम्बर 1972 को शाहपुरा के समीप अपनी पैतृक जागीर के गांव ‘देवपुरा’ में हुआ। आपके पिता कृष्णसिंह सौदा बारहठ एक कुशल राजनीतिज्ञ और राजस्थान के प्रमुख नरेशों के परामर्शदाता के रूप में ख्याति प्राप्त थे। आप (कृष्णसिंह बारहठ) के तीनों पुत्रों में केसरीसिंह बारहठ, किशोरसिंह बारहठ जो ‘ब्रार्हस्पत्य’ के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हैं। तत्कालीन पटियाला रियासत के स्टेट हिस्टोरियन थे। तीसरे पुत्र क्रांतिकारी जोरावरसिंह बारहठ थे। बारहठ परिवार दो देशप्रेम, स्वाभिमान, शौर्य और विद्वता विरासत में मिली थी। केसरीसिंह बारहठ अनेक भाषाओं के ज्ञाता थे। संस्कृत साहित्य और राजनीति का प्रकांड पंडित होने के उच्च कोटि के साथ डिंगल के महान कवि थे। मराठी, गुजराती और बंगला के उच्च कोटि के विद्वान थे। कवि केसरीसिंह बारहठ अपनी पिता कृष्णसिंहजी के जोधपुर महाराजा की सेवा में चले जाने के पश्चात् उदयपुर महाराणा उन्हें कोटा नरेश की सेवा में नियुक्ति दे दी गई और आपको कोटा आना पड़ा। केसरीसिंह का बंगाल और महाराष्ट्र के क्रांतिकारियों से घनिष्ठ संबंध थे। राजस्थान में क्रांतिकारी संगठन के वे मुख्य स्तम्भ थे।
