  • Gender participation in Technical and Vocational Education Programme among students in Technical Colleges in Jigawa state

Abstract:
The study investigated gender participation in Technical and Vocational Education and Training among students in Technical Colleges in Jigawa State. Three research questions were answered. Descriptive survey design was adopted for the study. Total sample of one hundred and thirty (130) teachers were used in the study. The instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire which was validated and a reliability coefficient of 0.86 obtained. Mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions, both male and female respondents with mean value above3.00 cut off is an indication of strongly agreed regarding the parental factors that affect gender participation in Technical Vocational Education and Training in Technical Colleges in Jigawa State. A standard deviation value ranging between 1.02 to 1.39 suggests that the respondents were close in their opinion. It was found that gender participation in Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Technical Colleges in Jigawa State is affected by societal belief in early marriage, parental preference and priority to each child, as well as

Abstract:
A mathematical model presented with the help of delay differential equations and a systematic study of the growth on angiogenesis cancer. This model is investigated using stability theory as well as equilibria. Using the theory of delay differential equations and the basic reproduction R_0 is a measure of the potential for disease spread in a population. We observe that the growth of cancer infection free equilibrium is unstable because the basic reproduction number R_0<1.

Abstract:
P. falciparum-caused severe malaria is the only infectious illness associated with a considerable fatality rate. However, the most frequent symptoms are the fever and chills, which often come and go. The efficiency of all recently developed tests for killing germs was examined at this lab in Delhi, India. We evaluated the Protozoa simplex 3D7 multidrug strain in 96-well inoculation plates for turn falciparum using just the microassay technique described by Rieckmann and colleagues, with a few minor modifications. The addition of bromo, nitro, or methoxy groups into ring B (4i, MIC0.127 g/mL; 4j, MIC0.031 g/mL; and 4k, MIC0.25 g/mL) demonstrated excellent antimalarial efficacy
