Abstract:
The world economy has undergone many revolutionary changes during the first few decades. The most prominent change being the emergence of global market and international competition, marked as globalization It refers to the development of extensive worldwide patterns of economic relationships between the nations. The increasing sophistication in technology, particularly in information technology, transport and communication, has apparently changed the world into a global village. Globalization is the process of integration of economic, cultural, political and social systems across geographical boundaries throughout the world. Before to talk about globalization the contemporary world is the contemporary world is increasingly sharing the ever increasing problems and challenges like the environmental degradation terrorism and certain biological problems, etc. Consequently, a need to think from global perspective in all spheres in life in general and from point of view of the business houses in particular has become the order of the day.

  • CONSUMER ATTITUDES TOWARDS NEW PERSONAL CARE PRODUCT INNOVATIONS IN RURAL MARKETS OF HARYANA

Abstract:
The goal of the study was to identify the variables influencing rural customers' purchasing habits, especially with regard to personal care products. The state of Haryana was the target area. Compared to a few other states in Haryana, this state's consumers are a little more established. This means that this research is only applicable to the state of Haryana. A sample of 120 participants from Haryana's rural districts were included in the study. The sample that was gathered is diverse in terms of gender, age, and occupation. The research findings indicate that there is a need for personal care product in the rural sector as well. The level of exposure and product expertise exceeds expectations. The need for a wide range of personal care items among young people has been guaranteed by the reach of internet marketing. The findings show that the three main aspects that have the biggest effects on consumers' purchasing decisions are social, market, and economic. The variance of 68.949 could be explained by the scale the researcher developed. The three aforementioned criteria account for the majority of decisions made by rural consumers.
