ಈ ಅಧ್ಯಯನವು ಜನಪದ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೌನ ಸಂಘರ್ಷದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಆವಿಷ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಭವಿಸುವ ಶೋಷಣೆ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯದ ಕೊರತೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಮೌನದ ಬಾಧೆಗಳನ್ನು 'ಕೆರೆಗೆ ಹಾರ' ಕಥನಗೀತೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪುರಾತನ ಕಾಲದಿಂದಲೇ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಶೋಷಿಸಲು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಹೇಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಈ ಅಧ್ಯಯನವು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳ ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು, ಅವರ ಮೌನವನ್ನು, ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳ ಅಸಹಾಯಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಅರಿಯುವ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನದ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಈ ಅಧ್ಯಯನವು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
